Ed’s Ponds

Ed and Ellen moved from their condo to the far western suburbs of Chicago in 2001 where Ed designed and created his personal koi pond. The new construction lot was a blank canvas for Ed to work his magic. The 3-foot-deep pond was constructed with aqua blue rock and proved to be a magnet for his two young boys who spent hours swimming and snorkeling. The Flatirons of Colorado were the inspiration for the main waterfall, which is viewable from several angles in the yard and from inside the house, as well.
