Rusty Reed Project

Attendees: All Aquascape Water Feature Builders – Novice and Experienced

Known as “The Turtleman,” Rusty Reed has an alligator snapping turtle breeding and care facility on his property. This project will include construction of a 20’x20’ pond with a deep-water zone and large wetland filter. Attendees will learn a variety of installation techniques, such as strapping and setting large boulders, along with Aquascape’s systematic processes for tackling any scale water feature.

Itinerary:
  • Day 1
    • 5:00-6:00 PM – Event check-in
    • 6:00-8:00 PM – Reception Dinner
    • 8:00-10:00 PM Drinks Networking
  • Day 2
    • 8:00 AM –The build begins
    • 12:00 PM – Lunch will be served on site
    • 1:00 PM – Classroom training session for novice builders
    • 5:30-6:00 PM – Pre-dinner drinks
    • 6:00-9:00 PM – Dinner will be served followed by networking
  • Day 3
    • 8:00 AM – Continue the build
    • 12:00 PM – Lunch
    • 1:00 PM – We will conclude the build by early afternoon to allow everyone to return home
