Don’t miss this unique opportunity to renovate an existing pond on a multi-acre property that’s being developed by actor, director, producer, and musician, Adrian Grenier, as a living workshop to showcase permaculture in Texas. The property includes a series of ponds, one of which is highly degraded and will be the focus of this hands-on training event. Additions to the pond will include an intake bay, modular wetland filters, and an aquaculture system to raise tilapia and other edible fish. Wastewater from the system will be pumped as nutrient-rich irrigation into the adjacent orchard and food forests. Water from the wetlands will cascade down an existing series of overflowing pools to re-enter the main pond, completing one full cycle. Attendees will be involved with all phases of this large-scale water feature renovation project and will learn from Adrian.
