Aquascape Features Must-Have Spring Startup Products

Aquascape, Inc. helps ready ponds for the spring season with cold water bacteria, cold water fish food, and AquaSurge® pond pumps.

AquaSurge® pond pumps use asynchronous motor technology to provide high torque, hassle-free performance, and more energy efficiency than magnetically driven pumps. The small compact size makes it an ideal pump for almost any skimmer. Best for pond and Pondless® Waterfall applications, AquaSurge pumps will not corrode or rust, and the oil-free design prevents pond contamination.

More information on the AquaSurge® pump family

  • Ceramic shaft with cooling port stops the pump from overheating

Aquascape Cold Water Beneficial Bacteria brings healthy conditions to water 50 degrees Fahrenheit and below to decrease pond maintenance. Every bottle of beneficial bacteria contains eight pure strains of concentrated bacteria and is safe for fish, plants, pets, and wildlife. It effectively reduces ammonia, nitrite, and pond waste, minimizing upkeep for water feature owners.

“Cold Water Beneficial Bacteria helps jumpstart a pond’s ecosystem in early spring by introducing microbes which quickly get to work maintaining the pond. These specially-selected bacteria are uniquely suited to remain active in colder water temperatures,” says Dave Kelly, vice president of product development for Aquascape, Inc.

Premium Cold Water Fish Food Pellets are specially formulated for water temperatures from 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Unlike regular fish food, it contains wheat germ to aid in digestion when the water is cold and the fish’s metabolism is slower. The floating pellets contain stabilized vitamin C along with other quality ingredients that are scientifically formulated for pond fish of all varieties. Aquascape fish food does not break apart in the feeding process to keep water conditions clear.
