Aquascape Replaces Annual Pond Tour with Free Mini Tours

Tue June 8, 2010

Aquascape Pond Tour 2010Aquascape Designs is replacing its annual pond tour with free mini pond tours consisting of 5 to 10 water garden locations. Each of the four mini pond tours starts with a self-guided, water garden tour showcasing the use of water features in a variety of settings. The tour is geographically centered around “pond central,” which is a feature stop where free refreshments are available and professional staff are onsite to answer any questions about water gardening.

“This year, we decided that concentrated mini tours would provide a better option for attendees than a large pond tour spread across the Chicagoland area,” stated Brian Helfrich, construction manager for Aquascape Designs. “The casual, party atmosphere at ‘pond central’ on the tour allows the opportunity for people to experience first-hand what it’s like to enjoy the water garden lifestyle while enjoying snack food. We’re excited to be able to answer any questions participants might have in this relaxed setting.”

The new mini pond tour format is flexible to accommodate busy schedules. The mini tours can be taken any time from 10 am to 5 pm on the specified dates. Geographic location and dates for each of the four mini pond tours this summer are as follows:

  • June 19th - St. Charles area
  • July 24th - Downers Grove area
  • August 21st - Sugar Grove area
  • September 18th - St. Charles area

Tour maps for each area will be made available at www.aquascapedesigns.com. All pond stops are located within 15 minutes of the “pond central” location on the tour. Pond locations will only be open for viewing during the designated times. For more information, log onto www.aquascapedesigns.com or call 630.659.2057.
