As the largest supplier of water gardening products in North America, Aquascape's vision focuses on an ecosystem approach to water features that relies on the most natural balance of fish, plants, aeration, filtration, and rocks and gravel to ensure sustainability. Aquascape created its 20-step, 20-product installation process to ensure that water features are properly constructed for maximum enjoyment.
With just over 100 teammates, Aquascape has hundreds of years of collective experience in the water feature and green industry. Since it's founding in 1992, Aquascape has installed tens of thousands of water features, both large and small across the country. Aquascape has created innovative, sustainable water features for public places like Chicago Shedd Aquarium, Phipps Conservatory, Denver Botanic Gardens, Boerner Botanical Gardens, and more.
To ensure low-maintenance, ecosystem water features are installed properly, Aquascape has implemented services to help professionals create quality water features that perform efficiently and effectively.
Aquascape supplies a free technical services hot line to connect you with our own internal water feature experts who can assist you with the design and estimation of any project. In addition to our personnel, we also offer a full online library of videos that provide both inspiration and information about water features.
Aquascape also has the largest nationwide network of certified contractors to help service our customer base even further.
Aquascape's commitment to the environment extends beyond its ecosystem pond products. The company's headquarters, dubbed "Aqualand," received a Silver-Level LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2006. Aqualand is a 256,000 square foot eco-friendly building that houses office and warehouse space. The vegetative roof is planted with native prairie grass and flowers and is integral to storm water management, reducing off-site outflow by 100%. Workstations and seating are made from recycled materials and a majority of the fabrics have green points. The interior design mimics the Illinois prairie while the 250'x90' outdoor water feature replicates the Illinois watershed.
Aquascape water features provide soothing sights and sounds that help you relax and d-stress in today's busy world. Examples of water features in the landscape include ecosystem ponds, Pondless® Waterfalls, and a variety of fountains from bubbling urns to fountain rocks and more. The therapeutic effects of water in the landscape help to lower blood pressure and improve physical and mental health.
Because Aquascape has built its success on the simplicity of our products, systems and installation process, we provide the most flexible and scalable options on the market. From Do-It-Yourself options to fully customizable large-scale options, we meet the needs of any budget or design. For designs requiring sustainable elements, Aquascape water features can be paired with our patented RainXchange® Rainwater Harvesting System to help conserve water and manage stormwater run-off. By combining an Aquascape water feature with our rainwater harvesting system, you reap the benefits of sustainability while enjoying the beauty, inspiration, and healing elements of a decorative waterfall or fountain.
